1 month old

I just can't believe how fast time goes by! This kiddo is already 1 month old (as of Tuesday) and getting SO big. I swear time goes double speed with two kids.

At one month Kellen...
is awake about 2 hours a day
eats or should I say gulps like a champ (just like his big sis did)
ALWAYS wants to be held
has a few nicknames from dad- KG and K-money
hates tummy time
insists on holding up his head while being burped
takes naps on dads chest almost daily
likes to suck on a binky
is pretty much ignored by his older sister
hasn't had a blow out diaper...yet
LOVES to sleep with mom & dad after his 7-8am feeding



sleeping in our bed...he seriously won't go back to sleep after his 7-8am feeding unless it is in our bed. bad habit? probably. but I need my sleep.

Em Bem

This little gal has been my big helper lately. It seems like she grew up as soon as Kellen came home. (she now 2 1/2 as of March 1st!!! oh my.) I'm not saying we don't still get fits but sometimes I feel like I am dealing with a teenager and not a toddler. Man this girl is sassy.

The other day she brought me my sweats and asked me to help her put them on. Then she proceeded to put on my boots(sorry it's blurry!). I think she needs some dress up clothes.

We are lucky to have the city pool just a few blocks away and Em LOVES to swim there. She asks to go swimming every day.

What really makes Emma a big girl lately is that she has gone a week wearing undies at night and had NO accidents. Hopefully it stays that way.

We wear pj's like all day in this house. literally. It's 4:30 and she just woke up from a nap and naturally is now asking to eat breakfast. I think she is confused. (idk why this text decided to be underlined and refuses to be centered. whatever.)
