My little dancer

emma has been taking ballet and gymnastics since last fall and they are finally having their end of year recital! emma's age group is doing a dance called "sneaky snake". we are so proud of her and the amazing improvements she has made over the year! we sure have loved going to Paunie's!

tonight was dress rehearsal and the cheapskate in me opted out of paying for the traditional dance pics and decided to take them myself...

for every good picture there are about 10 of these....she is a goof. 

i kind of love being a "dance mom".

Drew Calvin {2 months}

i'm pretty sure time goes faster and faster the more kids you have! it is hard to believe drew is 2 months old today. i LOVE how interactive he already is and how much he loves to smile when we talk to him or lightly touch the side of his mouth. he is also quite the chatter box these days...not that i would expect anything less from one of my children. 

this handsome boy weighed in today at 12 lbs 14 oz and is 23 inches!

it was a perfect day and we are so glad we got to share it with lots of family...event though i still need to get the group pic from my mom to prove it ;)

i can hardly contain myself when i hold this squishy boy. i am so glad my sister and her son carter got to hitch a ride up here with my parents for trevor's graduation and drew's blessing this past weekend! hopefully those posts will follow soon, but for now just enjoy every bit of my model nephew carter : )
