Emma's 1st day of Kindergarten

My little girl is a kindergartner.

Last night she filled the tub, washed her hair with shampoo and conditioner, and got out all before I even made it up stairs. I had to hold back tears because I realized how big she was getting...and I didn't know 5 year olds could even do that?!

This morning she woke up an hour early and colored sidewalk chalk outside while I worked out, got dressed, made her bed, brushed her teeth, brushed her hair, and got cereal. 

ALL BY HERSELF. 

When I dropped her off at school she was more than ready for me to get out of there...

You will do big things Emma. Be kind and always do your very best.

I was VERY proud of myself for letting her get this backpack...She begged and I decided a character backpack is 100 x's better than the Frozen shirt she wanted for the first day. I have control issues.

Declo Days

Declo Days! A loved tradition in Trevor's home town held every year in July! This year was Trev's 10 year class reunion on Friday night along with the Hammer run, parade, and other activities on Saturday. I'm always down for a good tradition :)

Bear Lake {4th of July}

We may have started a new tradition of celebrating 4th of July at Bear Lake. We had such a great time and it was fun to have a little get away with just our little family :)
