We're all kind of freaking out over here!
Today we all went in for my 20 week ultrasound! We were anticipating the news of a girl because our doctor had used a hand ultrasound machine at my 16 week appointment and said, "If I were a betting man I'd say it was a girl!"
Well, he was half way right.
I was in the ultrasound room with Emma waiting for Trevor to come in so she had already started the measurements (I was trying so hard to find legs and confirm it was a girl!), then Trevor walked in with the boys. The ultrasound girl then said, "well mom and dad, it's going to take a little bit longer for the ultrasound today."
(insert longest pause of my life when my heart sunk and I thought something was terribly wrong)
Then she said, "Because there are two heads on here today!"
I laugh/cried
Trevor said, "ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?"
and Emma said, "I'm freaking out!"
So yup, Im going to have 5 children in 5 months.
Yes, I already had one set of these P.J.'s in anticipation of an announcement picture today and yes, I had to run to walmart right away to buy another pair.
I'm freaking out.
I'm a friend of your friend. But I wanted to let you know I was in your same spot 5 years ago. 3 kids, pregnant, lying on the table getting an ultrasound, and the tech lady told me I was having twins. I was freaking out too! 5 kids. 5. You got this. 👍👍
ReplyDeleteMy set of twins just turned two! 3 kids and we decided for one more and got two! Going from 3 to 5 is a big jump but just take it one day at a time! It goes by so fast!
