Kellen's 3rd Birthday

Today we celebrated Kellen's 3rd birthday! He requested a Batman party and we had a nice little gathering with friends and family for cake and ice cream! Thanks to everyone who came!

Kellen is 2!

my little man is not so little anymore.
i honestly cannot believe he is two!

at 2 years old Kellen...
-has a very stubborn, strong willed personality
-loves soccer, basketball, golf, and playing catch
-spends his days bullying his older sister
-has the cheesiest grin
-sleeps in a big boy bed
-feeds himself
-is left handed
-refuses to sit in a high char/booster seat while eating

i can't imagine life without you kiddo! here's to being two!!!

emma's 4th birthday!

on saturday we had emma's 4th birthday party. this year i was all about easy and booked the party at the blackfoot community center. it has an indoor playland and all sorts of other fun gymnastics mats and things to play on. unfortunately somehow they booked our party at the wrong time and when i showed up the party room was occupied by someone else food and party. 

thankfully the boy running things quickly set us up a couple tables in the lounge area and we just made it all work!

emma now thinks that she is 4, even though her birthday isn't until september 1st. and she keeps telling everyone that she is 4 now!  

so i'm just going with it and letting her think that : )

 the toppers are just dum dum suckers dipped in water and then dipped in sprinkles!

 remember my easy motto? ya these were in place of goodie bags. ha.

 after cupcakes the girls decided to get the cheerleading dress up stuff out. it was hilarious!

she is SO my daughter.

i'm thinking i like easy, don't have to clean your house, type of parties. 

Birthday Giveaway!

so last week my sister texted me, "one week until your favorite "national holiday"!" because everyone in my family knows i take birthdays VERY seriously, especially mine.

i mean come on, it's my one special day of the year and i am dang well going to milk it for all it's worth. 

i may or may not use the phrase "but it's my birthday" for anything and everything on july 2nd

my husband thinks i'm ridiculous but it's not like i wouldn't let him do the same on his birthday. 

it's pretty much a right to be pampered and lazy and selfish one day a year. right?
