Thanks-mas in Kansas

Every year we switch off holidays. This year Thanksgiving is in Kansas and Christmas is in Idaho. So at my house we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas on the same day! It was an eventful day to say the least. We woke up early Thrusday morning and opened gifts, then the boys plus meagan and brook went to play in the turkey bowl while others stayed home a cooked for our Thanksgiving meal! Family came over that afternnon and we ate and played games. Black Friday apperently starts Thanksgiving night now, so at 10pm we were out shopping! It was a LONG day.

Happy Halloween!

I love all holidays but Halloween is up there on the list. It is so much more fun with my own little girl to dress up and take out. Although walking is still a work in progress...we had fun carying our little fairy around.
We had a few days of festivities this week! Sunday we kicked off the week carving our pumpkin and making cookies, monday we made emma's costume, thursday we had trunk or treat on campus, friday was a halloween party at the pharmacy school, (where emma took first in the kids costume contest, and our family took first in the group costume contest!) saturday was a carnival at a company here in town, and sunday we went out trick or treating. Trevor was a trooper the whole time : )

I made the skirt and bow and got the wings at the dollar store= $6 costume!

I got a tripod for my camera a few weeks ago and have been wanting to get some family pictures taken so yesterday we went out! Our friends Skye and Fletcher came with to get Emma to smile and click the button once I got everything all set up. I was happy how they turned out!

I just got a tripod for my camera and I hope to start taking more pictures and get some practice. So today we went to the park and did just that!

Mission Reunion

October is our favorie conference of the year because that means we get to go down to utah and see all of trev's mission buddies. These guys are the funniest crazy group of boys you will meet. We were especially happy to see the Baron's and the Reimers since they both had new additions to their families!

First steps!

Emma took her first steps. No this isn't a picture of it....but just a picture of her standing up. Do people really get their child's first steps on video? (i don't think so) Anyways, last night Emma was just standing in our room...which she has been doing a lot lately. And then all of a sudden she just took a step with one foot and then with the other. I feaked out and yelled to trevor, which freaked her out and she fell. opsy. Today she tried it again but two steps with the same foot which resulted in loosing her balance. She is SO close!

And Emma's first birthday party was on Labor Day.

The icing on the cake was the Boise win over Virginia Tech that evening.

1 year

It is really hard for me to believe my little girl is 1 year old today. I don't even know if I will be able to say it when people ask how old she is. Where has the time gone?

Wow.

I can't believe it has already been two years. Life has been full of ups and downs and tons of fun. Happy anniversary Trev.

New Beginnings

Here are some pictures of our cute new apartment. We are still getting settled but loving it. Trevor likes school and we are getting adjusted to pocatello. Nicer weather has been moving in and I am so excited for Fall. Mmmmmm bring on the crisp cool air.

Lucky boy is done with BYU-I. Unlucky boy has 4 more years of Pharmacy school plus a year of residency. For now we are celebrating the accomplishment and getting excited to live in Pocatello!

Time Flies...

Wow I havn't posted anything all semester! Here is a life update.

Tomorrow Trevor graduates from BYU-I! He is Majoring in Biology and Minoring in Chemistry. Next month he will begin the 4 year Pharmacy program at ISU.

Saturday we are moving. We got a cute little vintage apartment that is newly remodeled...it is a perfect mix since Trevor and I have quite different taste. I am so excited to get out of our old apartment and out of Rexburg. It has been fun but I need a change.

Emma is such a big girl now. She crawles all over the place and pulls herself up on things. Sometimes she even lets go of my hands when she is standing and tries to do it on her own.

The next few weeks before school starts for trevor we will be living in Burley so that he can get hours in at the hospital pharmacy. Next weekend is the Spudman (trevors big triathlon) and the weekend after that we are headed to Arizona to mee up with my parents and younger sibblings and visit my sister!
